This policy explains what cookies and local storage RavenTag uses, why, and your rights under GDPR, CCPA, and the e-Privacy Directive.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. RavenTag uses browser localStorage (not HTTP cookies) for functional data, and Vercel Analytics for usage insights.

Storage we use

Functional (essential)

  • rt-langrt-lang: stores your selected language. Retained until you clear site data.
  • rt-cookie-consentrt-cookie-consent: stores your cookie consent choice. Retained until you clear site data.

Analytics (optional, requires consent)

Vercel Analytics collects anonymised page view data: hashed IP address, user agent, referrer URL, page URL, and country code. No personal identifiers are stored; no cross-site tracking or fingerprinting is performed. Data processor: Vercel Inc., 340 Pine Street Suite 701, San Francisco CA 94104, USA. Transfers to the USA are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR Art. 46(2)(c)). Retention: aggregated data is kept for up to 30 days. For details see vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. Legal basis (GDPR)

Functional storage: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as it is strictly necessary for the service to function. Analytics: your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Essential only" in the banner, which you can reopen from the footer.

Your rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. RavenTag does not sell personal information. Analytics data is anonymised. To exercise rights, contact legal@raventag.com.

e-Privacy Directive

Under the EU e-Privacy Directive, analytics cookies or equivalent tracking require prior consent. We obtain this consent via the banner shown on your first visit.

How to control or withdraw consent

You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer. You can also delete all stored data by clearing your browser's site data for raventag.com.
